A signed, numbered print of “Women in Uniform” by artist Don Pedersen, PA; while supplies last. The print is 18″x24″ and perfect for framing.
Back in 2014 Don Pedersen the artist and PA wrote the statement below.
“This painting represents the commitment, courage and compassion of women who have served in uniform. It celebrates the many roles played by women over the years in service to their country. Women have played a significant role in our uniform services on the front lines to keep the nation safe and in the relief of pain and suffering of those brave men and women who stand in harms way to preserve freedom.
The AAPA Veteran’s Caucus and the Society for the Preservation of PA History have teamed up to offer prints of this “Celebration of Women in Uniform” which will also capture the signatures of our women PA colleagues who have served or are presently serving in uniform.”
PAHx and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants are joining efforts to expand and upgrade the John McElligott Veterans Memorial Garden at the Eugene A. Stead, Jr. Center for Physician Assistants located in Durham, NC. The garden honors PAs who have served or are currently serving in the uniformed services of our country, especially the former medical corpsmen who became PAs and pioneered the profession 50 years ago. $50.00 of the cost of each print is being donated to this endeavor by the Veterans Caucus.
Shipping and Handling is included in the price of each print.
