Dear members of the Veteran’s Caucus,
Please help us share this survey related to Veterans in PA Programs to help out the AAPA Taskforce looking into the declining number of Veterans in PA training programs across the US.
The following note is from one of our Board Members, Mark McKinnon, who is serving on this AAPA Taskforce along with fellow board member, Johnnie Gilpen.
I am a member of the HOD Veterans in PA Program Task Force established by the House Officers following the 2019 HOD meeting. The Veterans in PA Programs Task Force is asking veterans who are now PAs to please complete a survey regarding your experience applying to PA school and while in PA school. One of the goals of the task force is to gather information from veterans who experienced either barriers while applying to PA school and/or obstacles to PA school success due to their veteran status. You can learn more about the task force charges and its members here. This survey will close at 11:59 pm ET on Sunday, September 26.
