Veterans Caucus Lifetime Achievement Award

Lt. Col. David Gwinn, USAF (Ret.)

The 2008 Veterans Caucus Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously to our dear friend and comrade, David "Bubba" Gwinn. In accepting the award for David, Rear Admiral Ken Moritsugu said that David was truly a healer of the heart, as well as, a healer of the body. David's commitment to caring made him a model officer in uniform and model health professional. He was a team player, a model leader, and a mentor to us then, now and in the future. He is missed by all who knew and loved him.
